Tropical Peatland Workshop in West Kalimantan, Indonesia

An international workshop on “Assessment, Conservation Restoration and Sustainable Use of Tropical Peatland and Peat Swamp Forest Biodiversity”. Topics to be discussed are: methods for assessing environmental values of tropical peatlands and peat swamp forest, achievements from studies of their sustainable development, integrating their environmental values into national, local and international economic systems, conservation and restoration of peatlands, policy and instruments for their Wise Use and new approaches to their sustainable development.
